Alexander Fedorov

Violin / Russia

Alexander Fedorov was born in Moscow into a musical family. At the age of six, he began studying the violin with Professor Elena Kalacheva. He studied with Professor Lyudmila Slavyanova at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, with Professor Swisten Moses Haimovich at the Schnittke Moscow Institute of Music and with Professor Natalya Fikhtengoltz at Maimonides State Classical Academy. While still a student, Alexander defined teaching as his main occupational field. He wrote methodological works and held pedagogical practice with Professor Vladimir Rudenko. Since 2015 Alexander Fedorov has been teaching at the Moscow Music School and plays concerts with his Leo Tolstoy Quartet.
