Alessandro Tardino

Alessandro Tardino studied from 2003 at the „Accademia Pianistica Internazionale di Imola ‘Incontri col Maestro’“ with Franco Scala, Michel Dalberto and Enrico Pace.

He played at various festivals in Europe as soloist and chamber musician. His concert with the Orchestra Verdi in Milan, in connection with a Chopin- Festival, was broadcast live on television.

In 2012 he won the „Concours International de Piano de Lyon“.

In 2016 Alessandro Tardino recorded a DVD with the violinist Egidius Streiff for Fugue State Films with music of Max Reger. The DVD received enthusiastic critics, and the BBC Music Magazine awarded the DVD the prize “Best DVD of the Year”.

In the same year he recorded a series of CDs together with André Gallo that accompanies a new publication for studying the piano written by the composer Marco di Bari.

Tardino works regularly as a piano accompanist at the Summer Courses of the Mozarteum, Salzburg, and at the Académie de Musique Riviera in Vevey, Switzerland, at both events for the classes of Pierre Amoyal. He is also accompanist for the cello class of Raphael Rosenfeld at the Basel Musikhochschule and also gives private piano lessons in Basel.

As a certified NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Trainer, Alessandro Tardino joined his skills as a coach with his capacities as a musician. He offers sessions to musicians in order to optimize their potential through a special methodology.
